How NDIS Funding Works — Equipment Cost Tiers (2026)
Buy directly using your Core budget — no quote or NDIA approval needed for low-risk items like walking sticks, shower stools and many rollators.
Covers most mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs and beds. You need written AT advice (e.g. from an OT) rather than a formal quote round — we supply the paperwork same day.
Complex equipment needing NDIA approval with an AT assessor's report and a quote. We prepare NDIS-compliant quotes and work directly with your OT.
Pads, pull-ups, catheters and bed protection are claimed from your Core consumables budget. Our pharmacists match products to your needs.
Trial → Quote → Delivery — How It Works
- Free trial. Try scooters, wheelchairs, walkers and lift chairs at our Picton showroom — or we bring the equipment to you for a free in-home demo.
- Same-day quote. We issue an NDIS-formatted quote your plan manager or support coordinator can action immediately, with AT advice documentation where needed.
- Delivery & setup. Once funding is confirmed we deliver, assemble and hand over — with pharmacist follow-up and ongoing servicing.
Ordering With Your NDIS Plan — Plan, Self & NDIA Managed
Browse and add items to your cart, then hit "Request for Quote". We send the quote/invoice to your plan manager for payment, supply you a copy, and deliver as soon as it's processed — in line with NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Purchase directly online or over the phone. We provide a detailed invoice and receipt you can use to claim reimbursement from the NDIS, and deliver straight away.
PACE: please designate Connect Mobility as your provider before ordering. PRODA: we create a service booking through the NDIS portal against your plan. Once the claim is approved, email confirmation to info@connectmobility.com.au and we'll arrange delivery.
