The Breezy Basix is a lightweight aluminium self-propelled wheelchair with a distinctive red powder-coat finish. At 8.3kg it loads easily into any vehicle, and quick-release 24-inch solid rear wheels separate for even lighter transport.
Flip-back armrests, tension-adjustable backrest, and adjustable footrests allow a comfortable individual fit. Crash-test certified. Anti-tip wheels included as standard.
Available in 380mm, 430mm, and 480mm seat widths.

Yes. Manual wheelchairs can be funded under NDIS Assistive Technology — either Low Cost or Higher Cost depending on the chair and your support needs. How do I choose the right seat width?
Measure the widest point of your hips and thighs when seated, then add approximately 25–50mm for comfort. If you're between sizes, our team can help — contact us before ordering and we'll make sure you get the right fit. For complex needs, an OT assessment is recommended.
Can I trial one at your showroom?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom. For NDIS-funded purchases, your occupational therapist may also need to assess and prescribe before purchase. Contact our team and we'll coordinate everything, including referrals to local allied health professionals if needed.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. For larger or bariatric wheelchairs, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery window. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We strongly recommend confirming the correct seat width with our team before ordering. For NDIS-funded purchases, please contact your plan manager before initiating a return.
