Can clinical patient seating be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Many clinical seating products are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology (Higher Cost) with an OT recommendation. Electric high-low chairs, tilt-in-space chairs, and bariatric models are commonly funded. Aged Care Home Care Packages can also fund appropriate seating. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant quotes and work with your plan manager or support coordinator.
Is an OT assessment needed?
For NDIS-funded clinical seating, an occupational therapist assessment is generally required to justify the equipment, determine the correct model and size, and provide the supporting documentation for your plan. We work closely with OTs and can provide clinical seating trials where available — contact us to discuss.
How is delivery and installation handled for large clinical chairs?
Large clinical seating items are dispatched next business day for in-stock items. Freight delivery is arranged to your door. In-home assembly or demonstration is available for an additional fee — please contact us when ordering to arrange this, particularly for bariatric or electric models.
Which chair is right for my weight or size?
Weight capacities and seat widths vary significantly across our range — from standard models (150–160kg) up to bariatric chairs rated to 300kg or 425kg. Check the specifications for the model you are considering. Our team can help you match the right chair to your clinical and dimensional requirements.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives damaged or faulty, we will arrange replacement or repair promptly. We strongly recommend speaking with our team and, where possible, trialling before purchase to ensure clinical suitability.
