A good handling belt gives a carer something secure to hold that is not the person's arm or clothing. The EasyBelt and FlexiBelt wrap firmly around the user's waist and present multiple ergonomic handles, placed both vertically and horizontally, so the carer can choose the strongest and most natural grip for a sit-to-stand transfer, assisted standing or supported walking. The two versions differ in their inner surface. The EasyBelt is lined with polyurethane coated nylon, which wipes clean and suits bathrooms, damp environments and settings with special hygiene requirements. The FlexiBelt is lined with a soft polyester velvet that sits gently against the body for everyday comfort. Both linings grip against clothing so the belt stays put during a transfer rather than riding up. Each belt fastens with an adjustable nylon buckle and is built to last, with a durable nylon outer and reinforced seams in the areas that take the strain. Handle count grows with belt size, from 5 handles on the Extra Small up to 13 on the Extra Large, so larger belts offer just as many grip choices around the body. Sizing is by waist measurement. Measure over the clothing the person usually wears and choose the size whose range covers that measurement.
