The Overtoilet Aid Extra Wide is a robust, height-adjustable raised toilet seat frame designed to assist Australians with limited mobility in safely and independently managing toileting and transfers. Engineered with wider seat widths than standard overtoilet aids, this product is ideally suited to bariatric clients, people recovering from hip or knee surgery, and anyone who requires additional lateral stability and seat space during toileting. The ergonomic angled armrests encourage correct posture and provide confident push-up support during sit-to-stand transfers, reducing strain on both the user and any assisting carer. Two configurations are available to match different user requirements and bathroom layouts. The AJ0110 model features a seat width between arms of 500mm, adjustable seat height between 475mm and 625mm, and supports users up to 175kg. The wider AJ0180 model increases the seat width to 550mm with a fixed seat height of 550mm and a maximum user weight of 200kg, with larger options also available for clients who require additional capacity. Both models are constructed from powder-coated steel for durability and long-term use in domestic and residential care environments. Functional design details include a lift-back toilet seat with a removable splashguard for improved hygiene, and non-slip rubber tips on all four legs for safe, stable placement on bathroom floors. An optional clip-on lid (sold separately as AZ1400) is available for clients who require full toilet seat functionality. The Overtoilet Aid Extra Wide is available through Connect Mobility across Australia, and as a personal mobility and daily living aid, it may be eligible for funding through the NDIS under assistive technology for self-care.
