How do I choose the right absorbency level?
Absorbency levels are usually rated by drops (e.g. 5 drops, 9 drops) or by name (Light, Regular, Extra, Super, Maxi Night). Start with a level that matches the volume you typically leak: a few drops = Light/Regular; moderate leakage = Extra/Super; heavier leakage or overnight = Super/Maxi/High-drop rated products. What's the difference between a pad, liner, pant, and slip?
A liner or light pad is worn inside regular underwear and suits very light leakage. A heavier pad (Extra/Super/Overnight) is also worn inside underwear and handles moderate to heavy leakage. A pull-up pant replaces underwear entirely and suits those who want discretion and ease of use. A slip (or brief) has tab fasteners and is used for heavier incontinence or where assistance with changing is needed.
