The SAM PRO CF10 is Care of Sweden's CuroCell S.A.M. PRO CF10, a static air mattress overlay that lies on top of an existing mattress and turns the whole bed into a pressure care surface. It prevents and treats pressure injuries up to and including category 3, and because it is an overlay, you keep the bed you already have. There is no alternating cycle here. The CF10 works with constant low pressure. Its air cells hold one steady, gentle pressure so the body settles in and weight spreads across the whole surface. Nothing inflates or deflates beneath the user, which makes constant low pressure a calmer choice when alternating movement causes pain or broken sleep. It can be used for pain therapy as well as pressure care. Setup takes a minute. Set the digital pump to the user's weight, then fine-tune the feel with the comfort dial. From there the pump monitors the mattress and only runs when pressure needs correcting, usually after the user moves. Nights stay quiet and energy use stays low. A nursing mode simplifies care tasks, and for transport the tubes connect together so the mattress holds its pressure with the pump detached.
