About This Product

Low, soft couches are the hardest seats to get out of. The Assist-A-Tray sits beside yours and gives you an ergonomic handle to pull and push against, so the effort comes from your arms as well as your legs. The base slides under the couch and the rubber pads grip the floor, so it stays put through the movement and does not mark floorboards. It also solves the second problem, which is where to put things. The tray pivots and rotates a full 360 degrees for meals, a laptop or the remote, then swings out of the way when you want to stand. Handle height adjusts from 86cm to 101cm, tray height from 66cm to 81cm, and the base length adjusts from 50cm to 91cm to suit your furniture. Key features: - Ergonomic safety handle for balance when sitting down and standing up - Handle height adjusts from 86cm to 101cm - Tray height adjusts from 66cm to 81cm - Base length adjusts from 50cm to 91cm to fit under your couch - Multi use TV or laptop tray pivots and rotates 360 degrees - Super grip rubber pads hold position and protect the floor

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an overbed and an overchair table?
An overbed table is designed with a C-shaped or U-shaped base that slides under a bed, positioning the tabletop over the user for eating, writing, or using a device while lying or sitting up in bed. An overchair table wraps around the front of a chair, sitting on the floor on both sides. Both are height-adjustable and mobile.
Can an overbed table be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Overbed and overchair tables are commonly funded under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended as part of a home assessment. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant quotes and assist with the documentation.
Is the table stable enough for eating and daily use?
All models in our range are fitted with locking castors to prevent unintended movement during use. Overbed tables have a wide base with a low centre of gravity, and most feature a raised lip around the tabletop to help prevent items from sliding off. They are not load-bearing support surfaces — do not use them as an aid to standing.
How do I adjust the height?
Most models use either a spring-loaded or gas-assisted mechanism for fast, one-handed height adjustment. The Aspire range uses a locking knob for additional security once the height is set. Specific height ranges vary by model — check the specifications above for the product you are considering.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives damaged or faulty, we will arrange replacement or repair promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which table suits your bed or chair setup.
