The Assist-A-Tray sits beside yours and gives you an ergonomic handle to pull and push against, so the effort comes from your arms as well as your legs. The base slides under the couch and the rubber pads grip the floor, so it stays put through the movement and does not mark floorboards.
It also solves the second problem, which is where to put things. The tray pivots and rotates a full 360 degrees for meals, a laptop or the remote, then swings out of the way when you want to stand. Handle height adjusts from 86cm to 101cm, tray height from 66cm to 81cm, and the base length adjusts from 50cm to 91cm to suit your furniture.
