About This Product

Water on a hard floor is where a lot of falls start. This mat soaks it up rather than letting it sit. The top layer is a fast absorbing polyester that takes liquid in without splashing back, and a waterproof barrier underneath stops anything reaching the floor below. The long runner shape suits the length of a bed, a hallway, or the front of a bathroom vanity. It is 4mm thick and sits flat, so it does not curl at the edges the way a folded towel does. Use it on clean, dry, hard flooring such as non textured tiles, vinyl or timber. It also works beside a chair, under a commode, under an IV stand or under a highchair. One thing to note before you order: it is not made for use inside the shower recess or in the bath. Key features: - Fast absorbing polyester top layer that does not splash back - Built in waterproof barrier stops liquid reaching the floor - Only 4mm thick, so it lies flat and stays out of the way of feet - Colours chosen to hide moisture and stains, and to help with low vision - Best on clean, dry, hard floors such as tiles, vinyl and timber - Not for use inside the shower recess or the bath

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are household aids designed for?
Household aids are designed for people with reduced grip strength, limited fine motor control, or single-hand function who find everyday tasks like cutting, writing, turning keys, or reading difficult. They help maintain independence at home for people with arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, ageing-related weakness, or other conditions affecting hand function.
Can household aids be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Many household aids are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended by an occupational therapist. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices. Contact us to discuss your situation.
What is the Magnifying Viewer designed for?
The Magnifying Viewer is a hands-free plastic magnifier worn on a neck cord. It provides central magnification for tasks like reading labels, craftwork, or close-up detail work without requiring the user to hold a magnifying glass. Suitable for people with reduced visual acuity or those who need both hands free while reading.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom for many products. Our team is also happy to advise over the phone about which household aid best suits your specific grip or functional need. Call us on 1300 216 888.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which product is right for your needs.
