About This Product

Round doorknobs need a firm grip and a twist. If you have arthritis, that is the door you stop using. Great Grips slip over the knob and give you winged tips to push against, so the turn comes from your whole hand rather than your fingers. They also help when your hands are full. They fit over the existing knob, so nothing is removed and the keyhole stays accessible. That makes them a far cheaper option than swapping every knob for a lever handle. Some tapware can take them too. Glow in the dark inserts make the door easy to find at night, and two grips come in the pack. Key features: - Winged tips make round and awkward doorknobs easy to turn - Fits over the existing knob, the keyhole stays accessible - A cheaper option than replacing knobs with lever handles - Can also be fitted to some tapware - Glow in the dark inserts for night time visibility - Pack of two, DVA approved

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are household aids designed for?
Household aids are designed for people with reduced grip strength, limited fine motor control, or single-hand function who find everyday tasks like cutting, writing, turning keys, or reading difficult. They help maintain independence at home for people with arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, ageing-related weakness, or other conditions affecting hand function.
Can household aids be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Many household aids are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended by an occupational therapist. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices. Contact us to discuss your situation.
What is the Magnifying Viewer designed for?
The Magnifying Viewer is a hands-free plastic magnifier worn on a neck cord. It provides central magnification for tasks like reading labels, craftwork, or close-up detail work without requiring the user to hold a magnifying glass. Suitable for people with reduced visual acuity or those who need both hands free while reading.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom for many products. Our team is also happy to advise over the phone about which household aid best suits your specific grip or functional need. Call us on 1300 216 888.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which product is right for your needs.
