About This Product

A standard cane handle asks your fingers to hold your body weight. With arthritis, that is exactly what hurts. This cane uses a palm handle instead, so the load spreads across the flat of your hand and the wrist stays in a neutral position. The shaft is aluminium and adjusts in height from 700mm to 930mm. Set it so the handle sits at your wrist crease when you stand upright with your arm relaxed. Choose left or right hand style when you order, because the palm handle is shaped for one side and will not feel right in the other hand. Key features: - Palm handle spreads weight across the hand instead of the fingers - Made for arthritic hands and sore wrists - Aluminium shaft, height adjustable from 700mm to 930mm - Available in left or right hand style - Weighs 0.4kg

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a walking stick be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Walking sticks can be funded under NDIS Low Cost Assistive Technology without needing a full AT assessment. They may also be covered under an Aged Care Home Care Package. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators — just get in touch.
How do I choose the right height?
A correctly fitted walking stick should allow your elbow to bend at a comfortable angle (approximately 15–20 degrees) when you hold the grip with the tip on the ground beside your foot. As a rough guide, stand straight in your normal footwear and measure from the floor to your wrist crease — that's your stick height. If you're between sizes, contact our team and we'll help you get the right fit.
When should I replace the rubber tip?
Replace the rubber tip as soon as you notice significant wear or cracking — a worn tip dramatically reduces grip on smooth floors and increases fall risk. Replacement tips for most models are available separately. Contact our team if you're unsure which tip size fits your stick.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the correct size with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
