About This Product

Standing through a shower is tiring, and a wet bath floor is where a lot of falls start. This stool gives you somewhere solid to sit while you wash. The seat is faux timber, so it looks like a piece of bathroom furniture rather than a hospital aid sitting in the corner. Seat height adjusts from 220 to 270mm, which is low enough to use inside a bath tub as well as on a shower floor. The seat is 470mm wide and 290mm deep. Slip resistant rubber feet grip wet tiles and the base of the tub. The whole stool weighs 2.7kg, so it lifts in and out easily, and it holds users up to 120kg. Key features: - Height adjusts from 220 to 270mm - Seat 470mm wide and 290mm deep - Natural looking faux timber seat - Slip resistant rubber feet - Weighs 2.7kg and lifts out easily - Maximum user weight 120kg

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a shower stool be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Shower stools are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology — typically Low Cost AT — or as part of an Aged Care Home Care Package. They are frequently recommended by occupational therapists as part of a bathroom safety assessment. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators.
What's the difference between a shower stool and a shower chair?
A shower stool is typically lighter and more compact, suited for users with reasonable trunk control who need stable seating support. Shower chairs have a more defined backrest and seat surround, providing more postural support for users who need trunk stability. Stools are often preferred for smaller shower spaces or more mobile users. If you're unsure which is right, contact our team or consult your OT.
How do I choose the right seat height?
The ideal seat height allows you to sit with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at approximately 90 degrees. Most shower stools adjust over a wide height range to accommodate different users. If you're unsure, measure from the floor to the back of your knee when seated — that's a good starting point. Contact our team for help selecting the right model.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the right model with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
