About This Product

Standing through a shower gets tiring, and a wet floor is where a lot of falls happen. The Delta S24 gives you a seat with arms, so you can sit, wash and take as long as you need. The arms are wrapped in foam rubber, which makes them comfortable to hold and easier to grip when your hands are wet. It weighs only 2.55kg, so it lifts in and out of the shower easily. Seat height adjusts from 410mm to 540mm, so you can set it to match your leg length and make standing up easier. The legs finish in slip resistant rubber tips. The plastic seat has drainage holes so water runs through instead of pooling underneath you, and it wipes clean. The aluminium frame is corrosion resistant, which matters in a room that is wet every day. Overall it is 510mm wide and 410mm deep, and it fits most standard tubs and showers. Key features: - Seat height adjusts from 410mm to 540mm - Foam rubber grip arms for comfort and support - Slip resistant rubber tips on all legs - Drainage holes in the seat stop water pooling - Corrosion resistant aluminium frame - Maximum user weight 120kg

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a shower stool be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Shower stools are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology — typically Low Cost AT — or as part of an Aged Care Home Care Package. They are frequently recommended by occupational therapists as part of a bathroom safety assessment. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators.
What's the difference between a shower stool and a shower chair?
A shower stool is typically lighter and more compact, suited for users with reasonable trunk control who need stable seating support. Shower chairs have a more defined backrest and seat surround, providing more postural support for users who need trunk stability. Stools are often preferred for smaller shower spaces or more mobile users. If you're unsure which is right, contact our team or consult your OT.
How do I choose the right seat height?
The ideal seat height allows you to sit with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at approximately 90 degrees. Most shower stools adjust over a wide height range to accommodate different users. If you're unsure, measure from the floor to the back of your knee when seated — that's a good starting point. Contact our team for help selecting the right model.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the right model with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
