About This Product

Standing through a shower is tiring, and turning around on wet tiles is where a lot of falls start. This stool lets you sit for the whole shower. The seat then spins a full 360 degrees in either direction, so you can face the taps, then the door, then the towel, without moving your feet at all. The seat is padded polyurethane, which is warmer to sit on than bare plastic and easier on the skin. The legs adjust for height and finish in anti slip rubber feet. There is a shelf under the seat for soap or a wash cloth so you are not bending to the floor. The stool weighs about 3kg, so it lifts in and out of the shower easily, and it holds a user up to 125kg. Key features: - Padded polyurethane seat swivels 360 degrees in either direction - Height adjustable legs - Anti slip rubber feet - Shelf under the seat for soap and washcloth - Weighs approximately 3kg - Holds a user up to 125kg

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a shower stool be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Shower stools are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology — typically Low Cost AT — or as part of an Aged Care Home Care Package. They are frequently recommended by occupational therapists as part of a bathroom safety assessment. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators.
What's the difference between a shower stool and a shower chair?
A shower stool is typically lighter and more compact, suited for users with reasonable trunk control who need stable seating support. Shower chairs have a more defined backrest and seat surround, providing more postural support for users who need trunk stability. Stools are often preferred for smaller shower spaces or more mobile users. If you're unsure which is right, contact our team or consult your OT.
How do I choose the right seat height?
The ideal seat height allows you to sit with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at approximately 90 degrees. Most shower stools adjust over a wide height range to accommodate different users. If you're unsure, measure from the floor to the back of your knee when seated — that's a good starting point. Contact our team for help selecting the right model.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the right model with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
