About This Product

Standing in the shower takes balance, and balance is the first thing to go. This stool lets you sit through the whole wash. The seat has a faux timber look, so the bathroom keeps feeling like a bathroom rather than a ward. It is rated for a user weight capacity of 150kg. The aluminium legs adjust so the seat sits between 470mm and 570mm off the floor. Set it so your feet are flat and your knees are level with your hips. Slip resistant rubber feet hold it on wet tile, and the seat is 470mm wide and 290mm deep. The whole stool weighs 3.9kg and assembles quickly, so it can be lifted out to clean or moved between bathrooms. Key features: - Natural looking faux timber seat, 470mm wide and 290mm deep - Height adjustable aluminium legs, seat height 470 to 570mm - User weight capacity of 150kg - Slip resistant rubber feet for wet tile - Lightweight at 3.9kg and easily assembled - Suits showers and bathrooms

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a shower stool be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Shower stools are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology — typically Low Cost AT — or as part of an Aged Care Home Care Package. They are frequently recommended by occupational therapists as part of a bathroom safety assessment. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators.
What's the difference between a shower stool and a shower chair?
A shower stool is typically lighter and more compact, suited for users with reasonable trunk control who need stable seating support. Shower chairs have a more defined backrest and seat surround, providing more postural support for users who need trunk stability. Stools are often preferred for smaller shower spaces or more mobile users. If you're unsure which is right, contact our team or consult your OT.
How do I choose the right seat height?
The ideal seat height allows you to sit with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at approximately 90 degrees. Most shower stools adjust over a wide height range to accommodate different users. If you're unsure, measure from the floor to the back of your knee when seated — that's a good starting point. Contact our team for help selecting the right model.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the right model with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
