About This Product
The Delta SC2 is a shower commode you push yourself. The 24 inch rear wheels have handrims so you can propel it without waiting for someone, and quick release hubs so the wheels come off when the chair has to go in a car boot. The frame is aluminium, which keeps it light to move and suits a wet bathroom. It carries a user weight of up to 136kg.
The arm rests are full length and swing away, and the leg rests swing away and lift off completely. That matters at transfer time, because it clears the side of the chair so you can slide across to the toilet or shower seat rather than lifting over an obstacle. The front castors are 5 inch nylon, so it turns in a small bathroom.
