About This Product

Sore hands, weak grip or arthritis turns lids and taps into a daily battle. This set of three turners does the gripping for you. Each one slips over a lid, cap or tap and gives you a wider shape to turn, so the work moves from your fingers to your arm. Every turner has an upper and a lower ring, so three turners cover six grip sizes between them. The inner rings are pliable and hold the lid rather than sliding off it, and very little grip strength is needed to hang on. They are moulded plastic, light enough to live in a kitchen drawer, and the bright colours make them easy to spot. DVA approved. Key features: - Set of three turners covering six grip sizes - Upper and lower ring on every turner - Pliable inner rings grip without slipping - Minimal hand strength needed to hold and turn - Bright colours are easy to see on the bench - DVA approved

Frequently Asked Questions

Who benefits from food preparation aids?
Food preparation aids are designed for anyone who finds kitchen tasks difficult due to limited grip strength, single-hand function, joint pain, or reduced wrist movement. They are commonly used by people with arthritis, stroke, MS, Parkinson's disease, or ageing-related changes that make tasks like opening jars, cutting, or pouring from a kettle challenging or unsafe.
Can food preparation aids be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Food preparation aids are commonly funded under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended by an occupational therapist as part of a home or kitchen assessment. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices and assist with the process.
Is the Universal Kettle Tipper compatible with my kettle?
The Universal Kettle Tipper is compatible with most standard corded electric kettles. It is not compatible with cordless kettles. The tipper accommodates most standard base sizes — check your kettle's footprint against the tipper's 245mm x 280mm base dimensions before ordering. Contact our team if you are unsure.
Can I try a product before buying?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom where you can test products before committing to a purchase. An occupational therapist can also arrange a kitchen assessment in your home to identify the right tools for your setup. Contact us on 1300 216 888 for guidance.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Please contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which product suits your kitchen setup or grip strength.
