About This Product

Most wheelchairs are built around an average adult. Put a child in one and the seat swallows them, the arm rests sit too high, and the push rims are too far forward to use. The PA2 is a small, adjustable self propelling chair made for children and petite users. It runs 22 inch quick release rear wheels, so they can push themselves rather than always being pushed. User weight capacity is 125kg. The arm rests adjust and lift out, which clears the side for a transfer to a bed or a chair. The leg rests swing away so nothing blocks the feet on standing, and rear anti tip wheels stop the chair going over backwards on a ramp or a kerb. The rear wheels release quickly, which makes the chair easier to lift into a boot. The PA2 comes in blue only. If the fit is not right, the PA1 (62005) is the other chair in this range. Key features: - Sized for children and petite users - 22 inch quick release rear wheels for self propelling - Adjustable, removable arm rests - Swingaway leg rests - Rear anti tip wheels for added security - User weight capacity 125kg, DVA approved

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wheelchair NDIS-fundable?
Yes. Manual wheelchairs can be funded under NDIS Assistive Technology — either Low Cost or Higher Cost depending on the chair and your support needs. Specialised or tilt-in-space chairs generally fall under Higher Cost. Our team can assist with quotes, OT referrals, and plan manager invoicing — contact us to get started.
How do I choose the right seat width?
Measure the widest point of your hips and thighs when seated, then add approximately 25–50mm for comfort. If you're between sizes, our team can help — contact us before ordering and we'll make sure you get the right fit. For complex needs, an OT assessment is recommended.
Can I trial one at your showroom?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom. For NDIS-funded purchases, your occupational therapist may also need to assess and prescribe before purchase. Contact our team and we'll coordinate everything, including referrals to local allied health professionals if needed.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. For larger or bariatric wheelchairs, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery window. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We strongly recommend confirming the correct seat width with our team before ordering. For NDIS-funded purchases, please contact your plan manager before initiating a return.
