Most wheelchairs are built around an average adult. Put a child in one and the seat swallows them, the arm rests sit too high, and the push rims are too far forward to use. The PA2 is a small, adjustable self propelling chair made for children and petite users. It runs 22 inch quick release rear wheels, so they can push themselves rather than always being pushed. User weight capacity is 125kg. The arm rests adjust and lift out, which clears the side for a transfer to a bed or a chair. The leg rests swing away so nothing blocks the feet on standing, and rear anti tip wheels stop the chair going over backwards on a ramp or a kerb. The rear wheels release quickly, which makes the chair easier to lift into a boot. The PA2 comes in blue only. If the fit is not right, the PA1 (62005) is the other chair in this range.
