About This Product
This is a moulded PU foam ring cushion with a hole through the centre. That hole means your coccyx sits over open space instead of pressing into a hard chair. It suits people recovering after surgery or childbirth, and anyone who finds sitting for long stretches uncomfortable. It measures 470mm wide, 375mm deep and 65mm high.
The foam is moulded rather than cut, so it holds its shape rather than flattening out after a few weeks. A black fabric cover slips off for washing. Sit with the gap towards the back of the chair so the opening lines up with your tailbone. There is also a convoluted egg foam version, product 21001, if you want to compare. This cushion is DVA approved.

Air cushions (ROHO) provide the highest level of pressure redistribution and are typically prescribed for users with active pressure injuries or high risk. A seating specialist or OT can recommend the most appropriate option following assessment.
Do I need an OT assessment to purchase a cushion?
For lower-cost comfort cushions, you can purchase without an assessment. For clinical pressure care cushions (ROHO, Jay range, Equagel) that will be NDIS-funded, a seating assessment by an OT or physiotherapist is generally required. How do I clean a pressure care cushion?
Most cushion covers are removable and machine washable. Foam inserts should be spot cleaned only — do not submerge foam in water. Gel and fluid inserts can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild disinfectant. ROHO air cushions can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Check individual product care instructions as cleaning methods vary by cushion type.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. For hygiene reasons, cushions that have been used cannot be returned. We strongly recommend confirming the correct cushion type with our team or an OT before purchasing, particularly for clinical pressure care products.
