About This Product

Round knobs need a firm grip and a full turn of the wrist. That is hard with arthritis, and awkward when your hands are full of shopping. These grips fit over the knob and give you two wings to push against, so you can turn the door with a forearm, an elbow or the back of your hand. They suit older hands that struggle with round or awkward knobs, and they cost a fraction of replacing every door with lever handles. The keyhole stays accessible, so a keyed door still locks and unlocks the way it always has. Glow in the dark inserts make them easy to find on a hallway trip at night. They can also be fitted to some tapware. You get two in the pack, and they are DVA approved. Key features: - Winged design turns a round knob with a push, not a grip - Made for arthritic hands and hands that are always full - Keyhole stays accessible after fitting - Glow in the dark inserts for night time visibility - Also fits some tapware - Pack of 2, DVA approved

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are household aids designed for?
Household aids are designed for people with reduced grip strength, limited fine motor control, or single-hand function who find everyday tasks like cutting, writing, turning keys, or reading difficult. They help maintain independence at home for people with arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, ageing-related weakness, or other conditions affecting hand function.
Can household aids be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Many household aids are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended by an occupational therapist. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices. Contact us to discuss your situation.
What is the Magnifying Viewer designed for?
The Magnifying Viewer is a hands-free plastic magnifier worn on a neck cord. It provides central magnification for tasks like reading labels, craftwork, or close-up detail work without requiring the user to hold a magnifying glass. Suitable for people with reduced visual acuity or those who need both hands free while reading.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom for many products. Our team is also happy to advise over the phone about which household aid best suits your specific grip or functional need. Call us on 1300 216 888.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which product is right for your needs.
