About This Product

A wet patch on a hard floor is one of the easiest ways to fall at home. This is the original Conni floor mat. The top layer is polyester that absorbs fast without splashing back, and a waterproof barrier underneath stops liquid getting through to the floor. It suits bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and entryways, and it works beside a bed or chair, under a commode, an IV stand or a highchair. The mat is 4mm thick, so it lies flat and gives you far less to trip on than a folded towel. It performs best on clean, dry, hard surfaces like non textured tiles, vinyl and timber. The colours are chosen to hide moisture and stains, and the contrast against a pale floor can help someone with low vision see where the mat sits. One thing to note: these mats are not for use inside a shower recess or a bathtub. Key features: - Fast absorbing polyester top layer that does not splash - Built in waterproof barrier stops liquid reaching the floor - 4mm thick so it sits flat and reduces trip risk - Colours help hide moisture and stains - Best on non textured tiles, vinyl and timber - Not for use inside a shower recess or bathtub

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are household aids designed for?
Household aids are designed for people with reduced grip strength, limited fine motor control, or single-hand function who find everyday tasks like cutting, writing, turning keys, or reading difficult. They help maintain independence at home for people with arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, ageing-related weakness, or other conditions affecting hand function.
Can household aids be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Many household aids are fundable under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages when recommended by an occupational therapist. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices. Contact us to discuss your situation.
What is the Magnifying Viewer designed for?
The Magnifying Viewer is a hands-free plastic magnifier worn on a neck cord. It provides central magnification for tasks like reading labels, craftwork, or close-up detail work without requiring the user to hold a magnifying glass. Suitable for people with reduced visual acuity or those who need both hands free while reading.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom for many products. Our team is also happy to advise over the phone about which household aid best suits your specific grip or functional need. Call us on 1300 216 888.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which product is right for your needs.
