About This Product

A cane on the floor is a cane you have to bend down for, and it is something for other people to trip over. This holder snaps onto the shaft and lets the cane balance on the edge of a table or any flat surface, so it stays where you put it. It fits most 16mm and 19mm walking canes. Flip it up to use it, then fold it back along the shaft when you are walking, where it sits flat and out of the way. The reflective strip makes the cane easier to see at night, which matters if you walk to the letterbox after dark. It is light and discreet enough that most people will not notice it is there. Key features: - Snaps onto most walking canes - Balances the cane on a table edge or flat surface - Simple flip up action to engage - Folds along the shaft when not in use - Reflective strip for visibility at night - Fits most 16mm and 19mm canes

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a walking stick be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes, in many cases. Walking sticks can be funded under NDIS Low Cost Assistive Technology without needing a full AT assessment. They may also be covered under an Aged Care Home Care Package. Our team can assist with quotes and invoicing for plan managers and support coordinators — just get in touch.
How do I choose the right height?
A correctly fitted walking stick should allow your elbow to bend at a comfortable angle (approximately 15–20 degrees) when you hold the grip with the tip on the ground beside your foot. As a rough guide, stand straight in your normal footwear and measure from the floor to your wrist crease — that's your stick height. If you're between sizes, contact our team and we'll help you get the right fit.
When should I replace the rubber tip?
Replace the rubber tip as soon as you notice significant wear or cracking — a worn tip dramatically reduces grip on smooth floors and increases fall risk. Replacement tips for most models are available separately. Contact our team if you're unsure which tip size fits your stick.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. Express options are available at checkout. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We recommend confirming the correct size with our team before purchasing. If you receive a faulty or incorrect product, we'll resolve it promptly.
