About This Product

The SP2 is a self propelling chair, so you drive it with the large rear wheels rather than waiting for someone to push. The frame is aluminium with crossbar reinforcement, and the whole chair comes in at about 15.5kg. It folds, and the 24 inch rear wheels come off with a quick release, which takes most of the bulk out of it for a car boot. User weight capacity is 125kg. Seat width is 450mm and seat depth is 430mm, with an overall width of 670mm, so measure your narrowest doorway before ordering. Seat height adjusts from 450 to 510mm to suit your leg length and the tables you sit at. The armrests are adjustable and removable, and can be raised or moved forward for a side transfer. The legrests swing away for the same reason, and rear anti tippers are fitted. This chair comes in dark green only and is DVA approved. Key features: - Self propelling with 24 inch quick release rear wheels - Aluminium frame with crossbar reinforcement, about 15.5kg total - Folds for transport and storage - Adjustable, removable armrests that raise or move forward - Swingaway legrests and rear anti tippers - User weight capacity 125kg, DVA approved

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wheelchair NDIS-fundable?
Yes. Manual wheelchairs can be funded under NDIS Assistive Technology — either Low Cost or Higher Cost depending on the chair and your support needs. Specialised or tilt-in-space chairs generally fall under Higher Cost. Our team can assist with quotes, OT referrals, and plan manager invoicing — contact us to get started.
How do I choose the right seat width?
Measure the widest point of your hips and thighs when seated, then add approximately 25–50mm for comfort. If you're between sizes, our team can help — contact us before ordering and we'll make sure you get the right fit. For complex needs, an OT assessment is recommended.
Can I trial one at your showroom?
Yes — we offer in-person trials at our Picton showroom. For NDIS-funded purchases, your occupational therapist may also need to assess and prescribe before purchase. Contact our team and we'll coordinate everything, including referrals to local allied health professionals if needed.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders are dispatched the next business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days to most metro areas. For larger or bariatric wheelchairs, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery window. Rural and remote deliveries may take slightly longer.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products that are brand new and unused in their original packaging. We strongly recommend confirming the correct seat width with our team before ordering. For NDIS-funded purchases, please contact your plan manager before initiating a return.
