Large, interconnected polyvinyl air cells let you sink into the cushion rather than perch on top of it. Air flows between the cells as you move, so the surface keeps matching your shape and your weight spreads across the whole seat instead of concentrating on bony points. Setup is quick. Open the single valve, inflate with the supplied hand pump, sit down, then release air until you are resting on a buffer of air above the base. A quick hand check confirms the fit, and the same valve makes day-to-day adjustments simple. At 70 mm high and light enough to carry, it moves easily between chairs. Every Mosaic comes with a zippered cover with a non-slip base to keep it planted on the wheelchair seat. Choose the standard breathable lycra cover, or the fluid-resistant incontinence cover for continence needs. The cushion itself is flame-retardant, DEHP-free polyvinyl, and it hand washes in warm water with mild soap then air dries. Three sizes cover most wheelchairs: 41 x 41 cm, 46 x 41 cm and 46 x 46 cm, rated to a maximum user weight of 143 kg.
