About This Product

The UriBag is a small male urinal that lives in its own storage tube. It fits in a pocket or a handbag, so it is with you rather than at home. The snap lock seal does not leak, which is the part that makes it usable in company: you use it with minimal privacy, seal it, and empty and wash it when you get the chance. It is made from latex, so it is light but stands up to repeated use, and the shape is designed to empty cleanly. It suits men who are incontinent and not using a catheter, and it also suits travelling, camping and long drives where a toilet is not an option. It is easier to carry and use than an adapted rigid urinal. Key features: - Snap lock seal that does not leak - Compact storage tube fits a pocket or handbag - Latex construction, light but durable - Used discreetly, then sealed and emptied later - Washable and reusable - Suits incontinence without a catheter, travel and camping

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the urinal options?
Standard urinals are simple open-top bottles for male or female use. Spill-proof urinals (Spil-Pruf, Aspire Spillproof) feature a one-way valve that prevents liquid escaping when repositioned — ideal for use by bed-bound patients or where spillage is a concern. Lidded urinals add a screw-on or snap-on lid for hygienic storage after use. Female urinals are anatomically shaped for seated or lying use by women. The Cygnet shape is widely recommended for female patients.
Can urinals be funded through NDIS or Aged Care?
Yes. Urinals are commonly funded under NDIS Assistive Technology (Low Cost) or Aged Care Home Care Packages as part of a continence management plan recommended by a continence nurse or occupational therapist. Our team can provide NDIS-compliant invoices and assist with the funding process.
How do I clean and maintain a reusable urinal?
Reusable urinals should be rinsed immediately after use with cold water, then washed with warm soapy water or a mild disinfectant solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface. Most urinals can be soaked in a diluted hospital-grade disinfectant for periodic deep cleaning. Replace if cracks or damage appear, as these can harbour bacteria.
Which urinal is best for women?
The Female Urinal Cygnet (standard or Aspire brand) is the most widely recommended design for women. The anatomically contoured opening conforms to female anatomy in both lying and sitting positions, providing a spill-resistant seal. The standard Female Urinal is an open-top alternative. For women who also experience spills when repositioning, the Female Adaptor for Spil-Pruf converts the male spillproof urinal for female use.
What is the return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for products in original, unused condition. For hygiene reasons, urinals that have been used cannot be returned. If a product arrives faulty or incorrect, we will resolve it promptly. Contact our team before purchase if you are unsure which urinal type best suits the patient's positioning or continence needs.
